How to: Create updates for the Updates Feed

Modified on Mon, 8 Jul at 4:16 PM

As guardians of surgical knowledge, your role extends beyond protocol publication to ensuring that your team stays informed of the latest updates. Adding updates to the Update Feed is a straightforward process designed to keep your surgical community in the loop.

There are two ways to create posts for the Updates Feed: via the Incision Assist Manager and via the Incision Assist App.

Create a post via the Incision Assist Manager

To initiate the process, access the 'Posts' section from the left-hand menu. Next, click on '+ New Post' located at the top right corner of the screen. Here, you can compose your message for your team, and optionally associate the post with a Specialty, Procedure, or Material to ensure relevance. Lastly, you have the option to send a notification to your team regarding this post, ensuring that important updates are promptly communicated. Hit 'Publish' and you're done!

Create a post via the Incision Assist App

In addition to creating a post for the Updates Feed through the Incision Assist Manager, as an Editor, you also have the capability to craft and share an Update directly from the Incision Assist application. Simply open the Incision Assist app on your mobile device and access the Updates feed by tapping on 'Updates' in the bottom menu bar. From there, select '+ New Post' to commence drafting your post. Within this interface, you have the option to include a specialty, procedure, and/or material to further contextualize your update. Once your message is ready, determine if you wish to notify your team and then proceed to publish your post. With just a few taps, your post is shared and ready for your team's attention.
